    Négycsillagos légikikötő lett a Budapest Liszt Ferenc Nemzetközi Repülőtér, ezzel Európa legjobb légikikötőivel került egy kategóriába az utazási élmény szempontjából – közölte a Budapest Airport szerdán az MTI-vel.

    A tájékoztatás szerint a Skytrax nemzetközi légiközlekedési kutatási szervezet az idén márciusban háromnapos auditon vizsgálta  a budapesti repülőtér szolgáltatási színvonalát, és a korábbi háromról négycsillagosra emelte a minősítést.


    Ebbe a kategóriába került már korábban a londoni Heathrow, az amszterdami Schiphol, illetve a barcelonai és a bécsi légikikötő.

    Az elismerés megerősítése annak, hogy az elmúlt négy évben megvalósult százmilliárd forint értékű fejlesztéssorozatot az utazóközönség is nagyra értékeli – írják a közleményben.


    Kam Jandu, a Budapest Airport májusban kinevezett vezérigazgatója a közleményben kiemelte: a minőség és a szolgáltatások színvonalának emelése a jövőben is fókuszterület a Budapest Airport számára.


    A társaság februári közlése szerint a Liszt Ferenc repülőtéren 2022-ben 12 205 070 utas fordult meg, az utasforgalom így az év végére elérte a 2019-es rekordév 75 százalékát. A tavalyi éves forgalom 164 százalékkal haladta meg a 2021. évit, amely a pandémia második éve volt.
